With wedding season starting up, bridal portraits are in full swing. And with all the crazy weather in Oklahoma this past month, outdoor portraits became a headache. Snow overnight and the bright sunny the next day. Lucky for me we had already planned on an indoor location. We utilized the best of the Oklahoma State Capitol in OKC, OK. I love working in the Capitol. It has great this vast Greco-Roman architecture. Beautiful marble from floor to ceiling and a great rotunda. It seems as it has an endless number of rooms with an endless number of looks. It is a photographer’s playground.
A big thanks to Lindsey and the twins for all their help! The bridal portraits turned out great! Look for their wedding post in a few weeks. Their wedding ceremony will be at the Meinders Garden Terrace in the Myriad Gardens, Downtown OKC. We are hoping for beautiful spring weather for their ceremony. I know it will look amazing.
Aty & Traci live in D.C. and traveled to OKC for their wedding. I was lucky enough to capture their engagements the weekend in they were in town visiting. They have great style. Their wedding will be at the Colcord in OKC. They started with a great Gatsby inspired rustic look.
These two brought great style to OKC. I tried the best locations Oklahoma City has to compliment their style.
We were lucky to pull a few strings and get to shoot some portraits on the balcony of the Colcord. These next three were my favorites of the session. And probably my favorites of the year.
I am lucky to be a Oklahoma engagement photographer with clients like these two. Look for their wedding post in the near future.
